Kimchi chicken

Yesterday I had a walk in Nakameguro (map) which is now very popular for young-stylish people. Recently there are more and more galleries, cafes, restaurants and urban fashion shops have been growing in this area.

Our purpose was to see sakura along the river, but we didn't expect that thousands of people had the same idea!! It was just so crowded and we couldn't even walk straight...

There were many little shops selling drinks and snacks on the streets and the open cafes were full of people who were enjoying a glass of wine. Of course, the sakura was amazingly beautiful...and that is why so many people were there.

Today's cooking is the kimchi chicken. Kimchi is a Korean invention but you can find many types of kimchi in Japan as well.
Ingredients:
chicken breast
kimchi
lettuce
ginger
sake

1- Put some salt and sake on the chicken breast, make some holes with a fork and place it in microwave (or boil) until it's cooked.

2- Cool 1 down and tear it with hands roughly.

3- Fry the finely cut ginger, kimchi and 2. Add the lettuce just before finishing.

Kimchi has many kinds of tastes in it so you don't need to add more spices. This dish goes with rice and a gentle tasting soup well.
